A proprietary vacuum handpiece for a clinical body-contouring system, from concept to on-demand production in three months
Groundspeed develops treatment equipment for aesthetic clinics. For its Gslim i4 Plus system, which combines endermology and radiofrequency, it needed a handpiece of its own instead of the standard parts available on the market.

The handle had to deliver consistent vacuum quality, stay comfortable in the therapist's hand through long sessions, be gentle on the patient's skin, resist treatment fluids and repeated cleaning, and integrate with the existing control module. Production had to be possible on demand, in small batches.

An ergonomic, weight-balanced handle with single-button vacuum control, a soft-edged vacuum cup and rollers that distribute pressure evenly across the skin. The design is modular and built for disassembly, so it can be serviced and updated, with tamper detection to protect the service model.
